Overview

We delivered a ground-mounted, low-level solar PV system at Ashton Waste Water Treatment Plant under permitted development. Designed to support the site's base electrical demand, the installation provides a reliable source of renewable energy while integrating seamlessly with the existing infrastructure.

The Challenge

The project required the installation of a low-level solar PV array that would minimise ongoing maintenance while being safely delivered within a fully operational wastewater treatment facility.

Our Solution

We delivered a modular switchroom and inverter house that was fully assembled and factory tested before installation. The low-profile solar array was designed to blend into the surrounding environment while minimising future maintenance.

The Approach

We delivered a complete turnkey EPC solution, managing the design, installation and integration of the solar PV system with the existing on-site electrical distribution network. All works were completed while maintaining compliance with water industry operational standards and ensuring the facility remained fully operational throughout.
