Overview
We delivered a bespoke off-site substation solution, designed and manufactured to meet the project's specific requirements. Built in full compliance with local regulations and grid requirements, the package was factory tested before our team completed the installation and commissioning on site.
The Challenge
The installation was located within an operational refuse depot, requiring additional protection against the site's harsh environmental conditions. Specialist louvres and filters were specified to safeguard the equipment and extend its operational life.
Our Solution
We delivered a packaged plant solution with a plug-and-play HV and LV arrangement, reducing on-site construction activities and enabling faster installation following delivery.
The Approach
Our approach incorporated a split equipment arrangement to provide future redundancy and maintain operational continuity. This allowed the system to continue operating at a reduced capacity during service and maintenance periods.
